STATEWIDE FLOOD HAZARD DATABASE FOR OREGON, RELEASE 1.0
The Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) compiled the best available flood related information in Oregon into a single database. This polygon feature class is the counties of Oregon that contain information regarding its NFIP Status. This layer contains the NFIP status for counties of Oregon. See the text from the report for technical information on methods and a discussion of results and interpretation.
The purpose of the project outlined in this report is to identify and compile all the flood hazard data that is publicly accessible in the state into a single database. This flood information will be far more accessible to the public because it will be located in a central location.
The Statewide Flood Hazard Database for Oregon was funded by a grant through the Cooperating Technical Partner grant program with the Federal Emergency Management Program.
